When quarantine initially began and only essential businesses were open, I was definitely looking for more ways to keep myself busy. I used the abundance of time spent at home as an opportunity to cook more with more fresh foods. This was especially important as I decreased my meat intake even more than usual. However, that definitely gets boring at times. I always wanted to make cauliflower wings but didn’t want to do it without an air fryer. I researched endlessly but then stumbled upon a good one on sale at best buy for $60! Talk about a steal! The first thing I made? These wings and they came out perfect!

Buffalo Cauliflower wings Ingredients

How to Cook Buffalo Cauliflower wings

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.

  2. Clean and chop cauliflower in chunky boneless wing sized pieces.

  3. Melt down plant based butter and mix with wing sauce.

  4. Coat cauliflower with sauce mixture. (top left photo)

  5. In a separate bowl mix almond flour with seasoning. (top right photo)

  6. Toss the cauliflower in the flour mixture. (bottom left photo)

  7. Place in the preheated air fryer and cook for 15 minutes. Shake/toss in the fryer halfway through (7 minutes) and continue cooking.  (bottom right photo)

  8. If they aren’t as crispy as you want them to be or charred. Spray them with olive oil spray and cook for a few more minutes.

I paired these with some baby carrots and ranch just like I would with traditional wings. I hope you love them!
